For over 125 years, young women have been part of an exceptional learning community celebrated for its rich blend of academic excellence, sporting endeavours, creative arts and co-curricular activities. Set in the picturesque city of Hobart, Collegiate provides a world class education in a unique corner of the globe known for its scenic beauty, history and warm sense of community.About the rolePermanent part-time position (0.4 FTE)November commencement Seeking a motivated and dynamic professional with tertiary qualifications in either marketing, communications or events to engage with and build enduring relationships between our School and the wider community.You will contribute to keeping our community well connected with the School through targeted marketing and communication strategies that raise brand awareness and build on our school’s reputation as a leading education provider in Tasmania. To be considered for this role you should have:Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or eventsExperience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop software, along with a desire to up skill.Experience in email marketing platforms, including content creation and the management of imagery and graphics.Excellent relationship management skillsExcellent administrative and organisational skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesWillingness and ability to work in a flexible mannerHighly developed verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of the SchoolA willingness to work within the School's Christian ethos and actively support the values and philosophy of the SchoolPrevious experience in a community engagement (or similar) role in an educational environment will be highly regarded.Salary Remuneration is in accordance with the successful applicant’s experience and the St Michael's Collegiate School (General Staff and Early Learning and Education and Care Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2018Employment Conditions St Michael’s Collegiate School is an organisation committed to Child Protection and to the implementation of child safe policies and practices.Our organisation undertakes several screening processes to ensure the appropriate protection of children in its care.
