We value and place importance on each child’s ideas, needs and thoughts in order to enhance a sense of belonging and to create a safe environment in which children can play and learn.About the Rolefull-time (1.0 FTE)immediate startOur ideal candidate will be passionate about early learning, have Diploma (or actively working towards) qualifications and be a great team player.  As an Educator at Collegiate Early Learning (ELC) you will work closely with the Manager, educational leader and other relevant staff members to ensure our service provides a safe, secure and consistent environment that supports each individual child, as well as the overall group, on their educational journey.   To be considered for this role the applicant must have:Hold (or be actively working towards) a minimum of an approved Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)Hold and maintain current and approved first aid qualification, emergency asthma management training and anaphylaxis management training.Dedication and passion for enhancing the lives and educational journey of young children and others.Display a keen interest in lifelong learning and inquiry.Ability to multi-task and work as part of a consistent and cohesive team.Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety.A working knowledge of all aspects of the National Quality FrameworkExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.A willingness to work within the School's Christian ethos and actively support the values and philosophy of the School.Employment Conditions Remuneration is in accordance with the successful applicant’s experience and the St Michael's Collegiate School (General Staff and Early Learning and Education and Care Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2018.St Michael’s Collegiate School is an organisation committed to Child Protection and to the implementation of child safe policies and practices.Our organisation undertakes several screening processes to ensure the appropriate protection of children in its care.
