This includes the compilation and preparation of all payroll related information for employees of St Michael's Collegiate School in relation to the appropriate award or agreement and the facilitation of employee remuneration on a fortnightly or monthly basis.Attention to detail and effective communication are essential to the role. A high level of professionalism and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders, strong administrative skills and ability to work in a busy team will enable success in this position.The successful applicant will have at least 3 years’ experience working within a similar position with a strong financial understanding and proven experience in processing a busy payroll.Key Tasks and responsibilitiesThe Payroll Administrator as part of the Finance team contributes to the following areas of responsibility:Processing payroll for approximately 200 employees using Synergetic software programMaintain award data and ensuring that wages are paid in accordance with multiple enterprise agreementsManaging employment recordsSuperannuation, Payroll Tax and PAYG processingHR supportWorkers compensation and leavePayroll queriesStatistical reportingEmployment Conditions St Michael’s Collegiate School is an organisation committed to Child Protection and to the implementation of child safe policies and practices.Our organisation undertakes several screening processes to ensure the appropriate protection of children in its care.
