About the rolePermanent part-time, 15 hours per weekSchool based term-time only role (40 weeks per annum)Commencing late January 2022  Seeking a self motivated  and conscientious Kitchen Aide to support our Food and Technology Teacher in preparing, cleaning, maintaining and ordering of supplies to conduct kitchen practical's for students.To be considered for this role you should have:Sound knowledge of food preparation as it pertains to the School environmentAbility to prepare food and focus on nutritional valuesUnderstanding, and ability to undertake stock controls and ordering proceduresAbility to mix well and communicate with people at all age levels and varying backgroundsKnowledge of current Health practices as they pertain to food preparation areasAbility to be flexible in working hours when applicableSound judgmentHigh level of customer service skills.Ability to accurately handle cash during times of peak customA willingness to work within the School's Christian ethos and actively support the values and philosophy of the SchoolAbout St Michael's CollegiateSt Michael's Collegiate is an outstanding K to 12 Anglican day and boarding school for girls.
